Platform Priority

Google first. That's 80% of your effort. Google reviews are what Google cares about. That's what shows up when someone searches for you locally. That's what moves the Maps ranking and the search ranking.

Facebook second. For social proof. For visibility in people's feeds. People are on Facebook. A 5-star review there gets seen.

Yelp last. Don't even ask for Yelp reviews โ€” they penalize solicited reviews hard. But when you get one, respond to it. Respond to everything on Yelp.

Handling the Negative Review
